Perseverance rules Math-Sci Quiztacular Show AM Category

Jan Seanne Philip Galos, Leodimar Abubakar, Carlo Martin Cortez, and Gian Joseph Gutierrez from Grade 11 — Perseverance garnered 123.38 points enough to overpower the competition and take the top prize during the Math-Sci Quiztacular Show (AM category) held yesterday.
Grade 12 — Commitment took the1st Runner-Up prize with 112.14 points, followed by Grade 12 — Competence as 2nd Runner Up with 111.19 points, Grade 11 — Prudence as 3rd Runner -Up with 107.09 points, and Grade 11 — Grit as 4th Runner-Up with 97.50 points.
The event was held as part of Brokenshire College Toril’s (BCT) Math, Science, and Robotics Month 2024 celebration.
“I felt a little pressured and nervous since we were chosen to represent our section, but we motivated ourselves by saying that we were chosen to win today’s competition,” team captain Galos told THE SPARK.
“I’m happy we could reach the 3rd Runner up, we never really expected we could join the top 5… the experience is very worth it,” said a representative from Prudence.
In addition to this win, Perseverance also took the champion title in the Robotics Tower Challenge.
