History made as BCT pupil bags silver Palaro medal

Rongel Kish Diaz grabbed the spotlight as Silver Medalist in the recently concluded Palarong Pambansa 2023, on August 4, along with his partner Evan Rebb Lentejas as representatives of Davao Region in the Badminton Doubles — Elementary Boys category.
Diaz competed prior to this event as BCT’s delegate in the Elementary Badminton Boys Singles category in the DAPRISA Games and DCAA Meet 2023 and earned 3 gold medals and qualification for the annual Palarong Pambansa in DAVRAA Meet 2023 last April.
Under the coaching of Irish Ortiz, Khid Macabato Saimato, Noel Sanchez, and John Rey Nanca, Diaz marked the first Palarong Pambansa win in the history of Brokenshire College Toril.
