UPDATED: BCT Taekwondo team hauls 14 medals in DAPRISA Games ‘23 Taekwondo finals

Brokenshire College Toril (BCT) Taekwondo team demonstrated strength and determination and bagged 7 silver and 7 bronze medals, adding 14 medals to BCT’s collection facing formidable opponents in DAPRISA Taekwondo finals on October 25 in Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School.

Dave Ganzon dominated the elimination round by defeating Davao Central College (DCC) with a remarkable series of solid kicks, securing a convincing victory, 24–3 earning his spot in the finals and getting a silver medal.

Yvan Sinajonon, competing in the flyweight division, showcased exceptional skills and came incredibly close to the gold in the finals, falling short by just one point, 9–10 against his opponent.

Rogue Jeanne, in the openweight division, had a unique journey, as the combatant’s opponent was forced to withdraw due to injury in the elimination round, which led to Rogue Jeanne’s advancement to the finals and eventually procuring a silver medal.

Hannah Marie, a silver medalist, competing in the welterweight division, faced a formidable opponent from PNJKIS and secured her place in the finals and with a strong performance, winning the match with a score of 12–7.

Daniel Kim Dilla (Light Weight)- Bronze Medal

Jessie Muñez (FeatherWeight)- Bronze Medal
