Brokenshire College Toril (BCT) is hosting the Volleyball players from different Davao Association of Private Schools and Administrators Inc. (DAPRISA) affiliated schools for the Daprisa Games 2023 from October 23 to 29, 2023.

BCT started the week-long games with an Oath of Sportsmanship by Kent Niño Panim, BCT High School Men’s Volleyball Team Captain.

Riomey Marata, BCT OSA Head and game facilitator, wished all the players good luck in her opening remarks.

The participating schools for games slated earlier today included the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School, Precious International School of Davao, Maranatha Christian Academy, Davao Central College, Lamb of God SPED Academy, and Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia.

In an interview with THE SPARK, Panim expressed “I’m still nervous na sasali sa DAPRISA games, alam naman nating lahat na hindi mawawala yung kaba sa kagaya nitong tournament, pero confident na rin di kagaya dati.” This is Panim’s second and last year to represent the school in the games.

The BCT Aces Women’s Volleyball Team already scored their first game victory earlier in a close match against Lamb of God SPED Academy players, with a score of 2–1.

BCT Aces Men’s Volleyball team is set to play tomorrow, October 24, 2023, at 3:00 PM.
